Special Permissions~

This lovely lady here has a few atypical things that I'm creating a permissions post for.

1: If your character is able to sense demons, spirits, and other god-like creatures, Dakki should ping very strongly as a strong demonic god-like force. That would be because she is in fact a malevolent fox spirit.

2: Dakki is in possession of a spell known as "temptation". It is essentially a kind of mind control. Depending on how effective it is on a character, it may make them attracted to her, more open to suggestion, or it could go so far as to put them completely in her control. It is most effective on individuals who are naturally weak-willed or susceptible to feminine charms. Those who are strong-willed, incredibly virtuous, or find women unattractive may find it easy to resist control or be completely unaffected. (And of course, you're always free to opt-out simply if you don't want to deal with this!) Please feel free to let me know whether or not you wish to play with this particular effect!

We talked this one over on plurk, and although she won't be able to, like, get him to GO KILL A MAN or anything, he's absolutely going to fall under her sway with some ease.

Ed's got a will of steel but lbr if she asks him to do stuff for her he probably will anyways.

Trying to mind control Belt is bad end city, she's hyperaware of herself and will just start deleting things that don't fit.

1.) Ren can't sense a thing like that unless it's another Seal, so we're good on that front.

2.) Ren's got no defenses when it comes to mental shenanigans or hot ladies (just ask Belt!), so feel free to have her take advantage of the poor wibbler to your heart's content! Not that she'll like, like it, but you know.

1. ) HEINE is just a genetically enhanced human so he can't sense shit but he does have a very good sense of smell and probably pings a bit weird due to his. implanted spine.

2. ) not susceptible to feminine charms or weak-willed at all, so.

1. Wolfwood canonically recognises that Knives/Vash are inhuman and super powerful based on what I ASSUME is intuition, aware of it whenever they focus their whole attention on a person, but canon is kinda vague on what the deal is there... I'm gonna make an executive decision and say Wolfwood would be aware of Dakki if she were putting on a purposeful display; otherwise, it'd just be an occasional vague niggling that she's ~more than she seems~.

Viva's just a normal girl so she won't notice anything.

2. Wolfwood can actually be pretty easy to manipulate (see all of canon). Dakki is free to try shit with her—buuut Wolfwood also strictly adheres to her personal morals and tweaks the hell out whenever there's anybody in her head, so she wouldn't be able to make her, like, KILL A MAN or DISMEMBER THIS KID. She'd fight it until she either shook it off or gave herself an aneurysm, probably.

Viva is fourteen and incredibly stubborn and basically never listens to what anyone tells her even when it's legitimately better for her, so she's a no-go.

1. Montage has a spirit sense, but it's not extremely well honed, because she isn't a magician first an foremost, more of a jack of all trades. So she'll see that she's a spirit, and maybe of a somewhat shifty nature, but won't be certain exactly what kind.

2. Montage has too strong a will to be outright controlled, but she'll definitely find her attractive. She may not be quite as distrusting as she'd otherwise be, but she'll still be suspicious.

1. Sphinx is a god! Straight up god of chaos and magic in his verse, he's a ball of concepts trapped in a crystal shell.
2. PROBABLY UNAFFECTED he's strong-willed + he doesn't actually function on a human level of conciousness, so she could influence him but 3 seconds later he's done his chaos thing and is now thinking about sandwiches.
3. Sphinx has his own ping ability, CHAOS AURA. So he'll ping as anything from a god to a strawberry sandwich from minute to minute.

Magpie possesses the Echo, which canonically renders her immune to god influence - it's a major plot point that the echo is what enables them to not get brainwashed when they go a-godkilling.

1: Chimera here doesn't have enough shards back to sense her yet.

2: He isn't really "susceptible to feminine charms" and isn't particularly weak-willed, but he also isn't exceptionally strong-willed, either. I'd say she wouldn't be able to make him do something wildly out of character or anything, but he'll be more inclined to listen to/obey her than he would be with most people.

1. Arachne is pretty spiritually sensitive, so she'd notice! On her end, she seems pretty human at the moment, but is a magician, so there's that.

2. Her willpower is slightly above average, but she'd also be pretty easy to charm if a pretty girl tried. She probably wouldn't be able to get her to do anything too crazy, but she'd be a lot more obedient with her than most other people.

Isabela falls for this embarrassingly easily in canon, so I am entirely on board with any temptation-related shenanigans you might like.

1. Fiere can probably smell the fox thing, but aside from that, this duo doesn't have any abilities to sense natural demons. That said, if it's relevant to you at all, they ping as the same soul, fire, holy, and that there are three core soul pieces.

2. While his will save is fairly average (unless he notices there's funny business going on, in which case good luck getting past that panic attack...), Sol is perpetually in the puppy-dog phase, which isn't going to change any time soon, and therefore is pretty oblivious to feminine charms. (That, and he's kinda sorta demi...) That said, he's pretty likely to give his help when asked as long as it's reasonable, so. Ask a (reasonable) favor and he'll probably do it without question anyway.

1. Knight doesn't have Detect Evil back yet, but when he does, I assume he'll be able to register DEMONIC ENTITIES on his radar.

2. Knight was actually manipulated for very long stretches of time by a malevolent fox spirit, so she has a pretty strong natural advantage sicne that's an obvious chink in his mental armor. However, he tries to be virtuous and is relatively strong-willed when riled up. (However, he is very, very susceptible to classic feminine charms. Whoops.) So you might be able to get control over him fully but he'd fight it. (And it'd be familiar but he doesn't really know -why- yet.)

1.) Crown can't sense shit.

2.) Typical strong-willed shounen (seriously, willpower off the charts), but in general. . . also kind of weak to girls. Sometimes embarrassingly so. Is it cool to say he'd be weak to it until like he was convinced to do something that felt Wrong and broke free of it?

Granted, that requires actually hitting that "NOPE" ping, but YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN?

1. He has no such thing, as a Normal Human Being, and as thus will notice nothing.

2. Ishi is the most gay. Women have literally no sway on him. A chick hit on him in his canon and he didn't even pick up on it until she tried to kiss him. Dakki will have no effect.
